Weekend

So...my parents are here. They wanted to see me on their way back to KY from FL. So far so good. We went out for BBQ last night. Today might be breakfast, the Farmers' Market and a festival at the Fairgrounds.

Memorial Weekend

Hope everyone had a good weekend and took some time to remember the people who fought for us to have our freedom. My weekend was mixed. Joey and I attempted to go to the zoo but when we got there it was a downpour. I had to take Tiger to the emergency vet-blood in his urine when he urinates. The vet wasn't able to clearly state that it was a UTI since there was so much blood in his urine when they tried to do a analysis. Today he seemed to be back to his normal self-yesterday and night before he wasn't acting like himself at all.

Oops...got caught up cuddling with Suzie and watching Homicide instead of working on the latch hook...maybe tonight.

No crafting but...

I did get the new Tori Amos CD/DVD yesterday AND the EA Active for the Wii. Highly recommend the new Tori if you're a fan of hers-similar to her other later albums. Not as good as her first album in my opinion.
And I highly highly recommend the EA Active if you have a Wii. You don't have to have the Wii Fit board. One of the better workout games out there.

Actually did some crafting

I actually worked on the huge latch hook project that I was working on previously. I'm definitely more than halfway done with it and hopefully will keep the momentum going and finish it with a month or so.

How I spent my vacation...

I basically didn't do much of anything. I didn't do any sort of crafting-probably should remedy that today. I did increase my reading. Spent some time on Facebook, certainly not as much as I would on a daily basis at work. I hung out with the cats A LOT. I think that they were happy that I was home. I decided to make some changes in my life-increase the exercise, ditch people who have shown their true colors, and relax. The stress that I've faced so far this year isn't worth my health so relaxing is very important to me!

Friendship

What does friendship mean to you? What it means to me is to at least wish someone a happy birthday on their birthday...especially if they have done you a huge favor recently and you have several ways of contacting that person. To just ask a general how are you doing when you have a quick second at work and you are both online....all day long especially after you tell them bad details about something.
For those of you who don't know, yesterday was my birthday. So many people wished me a happy birthday...a lot of them haven't seen me in years or I never even met in person but yet someone who I've shared my hopes and dreams with, did them a huge favor, and asked ME to remain friends with them couldn't even say a freakin' happy birthday yesterday. Well, your actions or should I say lack of actions have put you where you are now. I would say good luck in your new adventures but in my eyes, I would say that to a friend, something that you have clearly shown you want no part of despite you asking me to remain your friend. You know how to contact me should you ever decide to be a friend.
