I finished the bracelet/anklet for Amy so now she'll have something blue for her wedding. Pictures have been taken but obviously not posted yet. They will be! Promise!

Crafting Update

I did a little work on the friendship bracelet for my friend/coworker. I'm under pressure to get it done before her wedding next week as she needs something blue and the bracelet has blue in it!
I also did some work on the bookmark that I'm making for a Spring exchange last night while waiting for Scott to get home from work.

Notes: Noodles is a wiggly, mouthy, sociable, nine month old adolescent who will work hard for food and would love to learn her manners with some obedience training. She has a lot of energy and will be the perfect partner for an adopter looking for a good aerobic exercise partner. Noodles enjoys playing with other high-energy dogs. However, since she was not socialized with other dogs as a puppy, she will not likely be a dog-park dog. What she will do is bring you lots of laughs, exercise and devoted companionship! Teens and up

That's how I'm feeling this morning. Have a bad headache. Backs achy. Got some sleep but still feel exhausted. At least my week of traveling is over. Hope that my day goes okay.

Nightmare!

For those of you have watched King of Queens....Scott and I were the main characters-just not as argumentative-and we were taking a trip to Disney World...and the only ride that we went on was the new It's a Small World. If you've been on that ride.....
So really not a nightmare but now I have that damn song in my head!

A Long Day

I'm guessitimating that I won't be home for 12 hours since I left this morning. Needless to say, I have a very long day ahead of me and it's all work related. I'm just hoping that everything goes according to my plan and it doesn't end up longer than it already will be.

Another weekend

Is coming to an end. Scott got home safe and sound. I did a lot more projects today-some I can talk about (i.e. bookmark for a Spring Exchange) and some I can't discuss on here. Overall, a quiet weekend where I have the feeling of accomplishing something.

Finished another project...guess it's a good thing that Scott's off playing! I finished a cross stitch picture of Eeyore. This is something that I made for myself. I'll post a picture soon. Off to eat dinner and work some more on some other projects.

I just finished a friendship bracelet that I made for charity. I'll post a picture of it soon.I'm slowly making my way to 25 projects. I hope to make it soon because I've seen a lot of kits and projects I want to do!

Sigh....

Scott left this morning for a 3-day Wargaming Convention in White Plains. I'll miss him but it will be good for me to have 3 days to myself. Hopefully, I'll get some of the crafting projects that I need to get done completed.

Les Miz

Took myself out to see Les Miserables on Broadway last night. I've seen this musical a couple of times before. My review of last night's performance is mixed. Some performers had outstanding performances. Others were not as strong as I've seen in the past. I was happy to see Lea Salonga back on the stage. I've seen her in Miss Saigon. Not as many performers acting on Law and Order in this show. Many of the performers were in the touring group for Les Miz. It's so nice receiving codes for discount tickets!

This little girl is Constance and she's a Persian

Notes: Constance is a magnificent , nine year old cat who prefers to be the only cat in a household. We have observed that she can get defensive when placed in the position of having to live with other felines. On the other hand, her beauty and star quality will be enough to fill the perfect household! Like most royalty, Constance is a sensitive cat who needs a quiet stable household. Constance prefers clay cat litter. MEDICAL NOTE: Constance was returned to the ASPCA after being in a home for several years. While in that home, Constance accidentally fell out of a window and suffered a spinal injury. She has a slightly wobbly gait in her hind end and, as a result Constance doesn't do well on slippery floors. Her back injury is stable and should not cause any future problems. Her previous owners reported that she was inconsistent with litterbox use. This is a common PERSIAN cat problem, but may also be exacerbated by her weakened nerves. She will need a home that is diligent in providing access to a clean, clay litter box and understanding of accidents. As a purebred PERSIAN, Constance also is prone to allergies. We've been successful in controlling this problem with a special prescriptive diet. It is our strong recommendation that Constance remain on this special diet, without any treats or any kind, so that the allergy remains dormant.

Lunch Club with a Hitch

Imagine the fun that one can have while trying to make lunch for your friends/coworkers and yet have people doing construction (i.e. putting new ACs in the walls). That's the experience that I get to have today. Making personal quesadillas for everyone while dust settles. Joy oh joy.
