Cats are so surprising. My Rudi lived to be almost 21 (4 months shy). In November before she died in February, she had a horrible case of inner ear--she couldn't walk at all and we were told she wouldn't make it until the next day. I couldn't put her down that night. The next day the vet called, amazed that when she went to take her out of her cage, Rudi got down and walked off, almost normally. You just never know. Pet Zeit for me. :)
