This guy is Tyson and he's a Chow Chow Mix

Notes: Tyson, a one year old, Chow Chow mix, was rescued by our Humane Law Enforcement Officers. He had been beaten and, as a result, suffered severe injuries to his left hind leg. Every effort was made to repair the damage done to Tyson's leg. He had orthopedic surgery in January and, again, in February, to try to repair the damage. Unfortunately, despite the heroic efforts of the ASPCA's entire medical team, Tyson failed to recover from his injuries to a degree that would allow him to be his very active, puppy, self. As a result, a decision was made to amputate the damaged leg in order to restore Tyson's quality of life. The results have been remarkable! Tyson is not only no longer in unbearable pain, he stands and walks as though he never had a fourth leg! His spirit is indomitable and he deserves the best possible new home where his continuing faith in the human race will be rewarded with the love, attention and care he so richly deserves!
