Here's the progress of the gift for my Dad. I'm probably about halfway done with it. I've been enjoying doing this despite the fact that I think that the house on the right side is just ugly!

That's coming along great.
Those are great little bird houses - even the "ugly" one. I bet it grows on you as you finish the rest of the design. :)
where do you get all the ideas for your cross stitching.. I enjoy cross stitching though I haven't done one in quite a while
oh and by the way.. I love the idea that you are making something for your family.. I am in my ceramics class and am making an anniversary plate for my parents.. I like the idea of something made by me for them
